10 Must-See HOT Movie Scenes

There are a lot of movie scenes that men love simply because there’s a topless, bottomless, or full-on nude woman that appears.  For people like me, that just doesn’t make a scene.  I don’t care how beautiful a woman is – seeing a nude female is pretty much nothing more than seconds or minutes of me feeling uncomfortable.  I am a non-homophobic woman who likes men.  I can appreciate a beautiful woman, but I don’t want to see her stark naked.  Still, full frontal male nudity may even make me more uneasy.  Few things are as awkward as watching a movie with a date or parent than a shot or entire scene involving nudity.

Men and women generally view these scenes differently.  A lot of men probably think these steamy nude scenes are hot and exciting to watch.  For me and lots of other women, showing less and letting your imagination go wild is more.

Here is my list of 10 Must See Movies for Hot Scenes Women Love
(or, at least, this woman loves):

10.     Lethal Weapon 3

Lethal Weapon 3.  1992.  Starring Mel Gibson, Danny Glover & Joe Pesci.

Lethal Weapon 3 made the list?  Yes.  It’s shocking, I know.  If I have to tell you about the Lethal Weapon series, I don’t even know how I would respond.  There is really little to nothing great about the third installment.  The first two Lethal Weapon movies are amazing, though, I must say.

There is one scene that stands out in Lethal Weapon 3 and it’s a HOT scene.  Martin Riggs and Lorna Cole (Mel Gibson and Rene Russo) compare their scars, cuts and wounds before getting down to the business.  It’s fun, it’s playful, it’s HOT.

9.  Love & Basketball

Love & Basketball.  2000.  Starring Omar Epps (Quincy) and Sanaa Lathan (Monica).

This movie tells the story of Quincy and Monica who grow up next door to each other and both love the game of basketball, and eventually each other. I love this movie beginning to end, like every other movie on this list.

The HOT SCENE is about a third of the way in when Quincy and Monica make love for the first time.  They both get back home from going to the dance which they went to with other people.  While at the dance, glances are exchanged.  When they each get home, they flirt.  “A Woman’s Work” plays during the scene.  Even though the characters are playing seniors in high school a this point of the movie, they are truly in love.  The scene also makes a point of showing the couple is practicing safe sex.  Safe, loving, gentle and respectful.  It’s the best “first time” scene in a movie.

8.     9 1/2 Weeks

9 1/2 Weeks.  1986.  Starring Mickey Rourke & Kim Basinger.

This is the most obvious choice on the list, right?  Believe it or not, I had not seen this movie until I was in my early 30s.  It was introduced to me by a man who claimed to have played out some of the scenes from the movie in real life.  That may have made the movie hotter for me, I’m not sure.  I’ve only seen this movie one time, but I can tell you that one scene stood out for me more than any of the others.  It wasn’t the food sequence or the dressing up as a man or even the money scene.

For me, the HOT scene in 9 1/2 Weeks was when John and Elizabeth are in an alley and it’s pouring down rain.  What is it about a public scene in pouring rain?  I don’t know for sure.  All I know is that it is an amazing scene!

7.     Legends of the Fall

Legends of the Fall.  1995.  Starring Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, Julia Ormond, Aidan Quinn & Henry Thomas.

This is one of the saddest movies I have ever watched, but I love it anyway.  Three brothers and their father are torn apart by war, politics and a woman.

This is Brad Pitt at his sexiest.  Take your pick as far as hot scenes go…  I saw this movie in the theater with one of my sisters in New York City.  Theater-goers literally gasped with delight when Brad Pitt was on screen.  You just want to pause certain looks Brad Pitt gives or replay certain things he says in this movie.  Brad Pitt is so amazing to watch on screen – he’s both perfect looking AND a very talented actor.  Everyone else in this movie brings their characters to life and who can forget, “Screw ’em!”

6.     The Notebook

The Notebook.  2004.  Starring Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling.

This movie is based on the novel written by Nicholas Sparks of the same name.  It’s a story of Allie and Noah and all of the complications of their relationship.  She comes from money.  He doesn’t.  He can’t love anyone besides Allie.  It’s a love story, for certain.  I will admit that I never read the book.  I went to this movie in the theater at least 3 times.  I saw it by myself and loved it.  I brought one of my sisters to see it and loved it again.  I brought my Mom to see it and loved it even more.  I wanted to BE Allie.

The HOT scene in this movie is when Allie has to make a decision between going back to Noah or marrying another man, Lon (played by James Marsden).  Lon is a really great guy, so it is actually a tough decision for her to make.  She decides to visit Noah before marrying Lon.  She and Noah “make up for lost time” and it is HOT.

Of course, everything leading up to that moment in the film builds up your love for Noah and Allie as a couple which makes the scene that much more HOT.

5.     Secretary

Secretary.  2002.  Starring James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Mr. Grey (played by James Spader) is an attorney who hires Lee Holloway as his secretary.  The relationship turns out to be a win-win for this duo as Mr. Grey enjoys dominating and Miss Holloway enjoys being dominated.  This movie isn’t for a lot of people, but if you have an open mind or are into it, you’ll have fun watching it.

The HOT scene in this movie is when Miss Holloway is asked to bend over the desk after making a typing error on a letter one too many times.  She complies with his commands and takes the spanking he gives her.  They both enjoy it so much that Miss Holloway deliberately makes errors so she can be punished and Mr. Grey keeps upping the punishment.  For these two, it’s a game they love to play.  Not for everyone.

4.     How Stella Got her Groove Back

How Stella Got Her Groove Back.  1998.  Starring Angela Bassett & Taye Diggs.

This movie is based on the novel of the same name written by Terry McMillan.  I read the book before seeing the movie.  Loved the book and loved the movie, even though the movie is very different from the book.  Stella meets Winston (a much younger man) while vacationing in Jamaica.  They have a hot affair.

There are many very HOT scenes in this movie, but one of my favorite scenes is when Stella and Winston have breakfast together.  Sounds like something innocent, I know.  Believe me, this scene is HOT.  Who knew having breakfast could be so exciting?

3.     Shag The Movie

Shag The Movie.  1989.  Starring Phoebe Cates, Bridget Fonda, Annabeth Gish & Page Hannah.

4 girls who just graduated from high school take a road trip to Myrtle Beach before the first of the 4 girls, Carson (played by Phoebe Cates) gets married.  Carson didn’t count on meeting Buzz (played by Robert Rusler).  Okay, you can tell I grew up in the 80s and early 90s from this list.

The HOT scene is really a sequence of events.  Carson and Buzz are sitting at the edge of a dock fishing on a hot summer day.  Meanwhile, Pudge and Chip (played by Annabeth Gish & Scott Coffey) are spending the day on the beach, taking a sex quiz.  Believe me, it’s a great sequence!

Unfortunately, there isn’t a quality trailer available on YouTube or IMDB for this movie.  There is a trailer you can watch on VideoDetective.com:  http://www.videodetective.com/titledetails.aspx?publishedid=883

2.    Body Heat

Body Heat.  1981.  Starring Kathleen Turner and William Hurt.

In the midst of a searing Florida heat wave, a woman convinces her lover, a small-town lawyer, to murder her rich husband. (IMDB.COM)
One of the HOTTEST scenes I’ve ever watched in a movie happens in Body Heat.  Ned Racine is asked by Matty Walker to leave her home.  Ned walks out the door and to his car, but he has so much passion for Matty he can’t stand it.  Matty knows it and plays on it.  Ned breaks his way into the house while Matty watches him and once inside, Ned takes charge.  It’s just what Matty Walker wanted.  It’s a STEAMY scene.

1.     Dirty Dancing

Dirty Dancing.  1987.  Starring Jennifer Grey & Patrick Swayze.

Dirty Dancing is about Frances “Baby” Houseman who goes to a resort for the summer with her family.  She falls for the dance instructor, Johnny Castle.

The HOTTEST scene is when Frances goes over to see Johnny after dancing together at a show and Frances’ father helps Penny after getting an abortion from a quack doctor.  Frances goes to see Johnny to apologize for the way her father treated him.  Otis Redding’s “These Arms of Mine” is playing when she arrives.

After a bit of conversation, Baby says, “Dance with me.”  Johnny asks, “Here?”  They do.  “Cry To Me” by Solomon Burke plays as Baby and Johnny dance without saying a word.  It may be THEE hottest scene in a movie EVER.

This movie has one of the best soundtracks ever, too!
